\nOn 20 October 2011, Muammar Gaddafi was captured and killed. Since the end of the regime established by the Colonel and his \u201cGreen Revolution\u201d, Libya has been in a state of endless agony. How many lies were told to justify Western intervention in Libya? Why did Italy participate in the attack just two years after signing the Treaty of Friendship with Tripoli? Given its historical ties and geographical position, our country controls the main extraction sites and refineries in Tripolitania and Cyrenaica. But what price are we paying to protect our interests?
