Barbara Onnis is Professor of Asian History and Institutions at the University of Cagliari. Her primary research interests focus on contemporary Chinese history and foreign policy. Specifically, her primary (and predominant) focus is on the foreign policy of the People’s Republic of China, approached from different perspectives and in diverse contexts, both temporally (revolutionary and post-revolutionary eras) and spatially (concerning specific regions but also its global dimension).
