Duilio Caocci teaches Italian and Sardinian Literature at the Faculty of Humanities in Cagliari. Between 2009 and 2011, he was a member of the National Committee for the Centenary Celebrations of Giuseppe Dessì’s Birth, and from 2016 to 2023, he was Secretary of the National Commission for the Complete Works of Grazia Deledda, established at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities. He is also co-director of the International Seminar on the Work of Andrea Camilleri and editor of the Quaderni Camilleriani. He has published numerous essays on medieval Italian literature and Sardinian literature between the 16th and 20th centuries.
