Presentation of the book "Another Memory. Wars, Massacres, Walls, and Genocides Produce Addiction. A Failed Paradigm to Rebuild" by Lorenzo Guadagnucci, on November 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM in Quartucciu.

The Mondo Eco literary festival was founded six years ago by Il Crogiuolo, with the aim of exploring contemporary life in all its profound contradictions, denouncing man’s predatory and speculative attitude towards nature, and helping to shape and spread an ethical conscience of respect for the environment based on the practice of sustainability.

This is the context for the presentation of the book “Another Memory. Wars, Massacres, Walls, and Genocides Produce Addiction. A Failed Paradigm to Rebuild” by Lorenzo Guadagnucci, published by Altreconomia, 2025, on November 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at Sa domu de su Coru, Via Progresso 2, Quartucciu.

The memory of the Nazi-Fascist massacres—from Marzabotto to Sant’Anna di Stazzema, to the Fosse Ardeatine—has often become a sterile, self-referential ritual, complicit in indifference to the crimes of the present. This book exposes the inconsistency of those who condemn the massacres of the past but tolerate those of today, and proposes a living, political memory capable of denouncing wars and affirming the universal value of every human life.

The conversation with the author is offered in the form of a literary “The.” Free admission with reservations, subject to availability. Reservations at 3348821892

The initiative is organized in collaboration with the ANPI of Cagliari.
