On Sunday, November 23, at 6 p.m., at the Businco Hospital in Cagliari, Franciscu Sedda, semiologist, professor at the University of Cagliari, and writer, will present “L’imprevedibile succede” (Bompiani, 2025) in conversation with Paolo Sorrentino, also a semiologist.
A journey through the turbulence of our time: from politics to climate, from economics to media, from science to art, our daily lives are filled with constant surprises, both large and small, that often disorient us, sometimes enlighten us, and almost always challenge us. To face the unpredictable without being overwhelmed, we need new perspectives, agile tools, and updated maps, which Sedda seeks to offer in his book. The meeting will also be livestreamed (Crogiuolo’s Facebook page), with Luciana Ledda translating into Italian.
