Carloforte, December 19th, 5:00 PM | Villaspeciosa, December 22nd, 5:30 PM
A special event for the Mondo Eco literary festival, which, through the book “Orientation at School” by Marco Pitzalis and Laura Tola, looks to the future of education for younger generations. There are two opportunities to meet the authors in Carloforte: on December 19th, at 5 pm, at the municipal library, presented by Mayor Stefano Rombi, and on December 22nd, at 5:30 pm, in Villaspeciosa at the Librart bookshop. The book addresses guidance in schools from a scientific and multidisciplinary perspective with an innovative and systemic approach. The aim is to move beyond the view of orientation as a ‘selective’ process, of ‘sorting’ at the end of each school grade, to provide a different conceptual framework. We therefore propose a highly innovative and inclusive orientation model (Orientation 5.0) that invites us to be actors of change through the study and implementation of activities and practices that have a general transformative purpose, that is, that affect not only each person, but also the system of social relationships and those between human beings, nature, and the planet.
