Rebel is a good dog and loves his life with his owner Tom. Every day on the farm is so perfect in its simplicity that when war comes, Rebel refuses to believe everything can change. Tom, however, is determined to join the Reds, the rebels fighting to defeat the king. He orders Rebel to wait there, ties a red handkerchief around his neck as a sign of friendship and loyalty, and runs away alone to reach the heart of the revolt. Like a good dog, Rebel waits for him. But when he realizes that Tom won’t be returning anytime soon, and may never return, he abandons all his certainties and sets out to find him. To bring him home, before it’s too late…
