‘Il Mostro’ is a 2025 Netflix production directed by Stefano Sollima, which reconstructs the case of the Monster of Florence. Released on 22 October 2025, the miniseries focuses on the investigations into the so-called “Sardinian trail”, addressing the horror of the case without sensationalism. It is a four-episode miniseries based on real events, direct testimonies and court records, which covers part of the long and complex investigation into the Italian serial killer.
