With the Aragonese conquest of Sardinia, beginning in 1324, many families of the Aragonese nobility moved to Sardinia, often changing the island’s fortunes. A “red and yellow” thread ties Spain’s third-largest city to Sardinia, and is still traceable today in documents and monuments in Cagliari and beyond. This virtual stand-up history* will be an opportunity to rekindle, thanks to the support of Shardana—the official Sardinian club of Valencia—the cultural bridge linking the Iberian Peninsula and Sardinia.
