Andrea Cannas is a professor of Italian Literature at the University of Cagliari. He has written essays and volumes on authors such as Dante, Leopardi, Calvino, Deledda, Satta, Atzeni. He has studied the relationship between literature and comics, and has investigated the literary plots of the singer-songwriter genre (the 2022 book La mia distanza dalle stelle. Utopia e distopia nel canzone di Fabrizio De André). One of the founders of the interdisciplinary studies journal “Medea”, he is the author of several short stories.
