Fabio Marceddu, actor, author and producer, was born in Cagliari in 1971. She earned a three-year diploma in acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts of Calabria, completing the course with top marks. Subsequently, he furthered his education in Europe, graduating from the École des Maitres and graduating with honors in Modern Literature. His artistic career boasts numerous theatrical productions in Italy and abroad, both as an actor and as a playwright. He founded the Teatro dall’Armadio with Antonello Murgia. He has written and performed award-winning shows such as Bestie Feroci, FM, Alfonsina Panciavuota and Il Virile in Vinile, winning national and international recognition. He has collaborated with several festivals, including Tuttestorie. As a producer he contributed to projects such as the documentaries Rastros and Visus for Rai Sardegna, the award-winning Sui tetti di chi dorme (directed by Antonello Murgia). His first novel, The Sea Above, was well received.
