Kohei Saito is a Japanese philosopher. Considered an economic philosopher, he is a professor at the University of Tokyo and one of the editors of the monumental complete edition of the Works of Marx and Engels. His books have had a huge international impact and have been translated into many languages: Karl Marx’s Eco-Socialism, first published in 2017 (and published in Italy by Castelvecchi), made him the youngest winner of the Deutscher Memorial Prize. In 2024, Einaudi published in Italy the Asia Book Award winner Capital in the Anthropocene.
