Vindice Lecis (Sassari, 1957) worked for 35 years at the publishing group L’Espresso as a journalist. For Condaghes, he published several historical novels: Buiakesos. Le guardie del giudice (2012); Il condaghe segreto (2013); Judikes (2014); Le pietre di Nur (new edition 2016); Hospiton (2017), Ospitone. Dux Barbarie (2018) and the investigative book Ollolai e le case a un euro (2019). He has also written the novels: La resa dei conti (2003), Togliatti deve morire (2005), Da una parte della barricata (On One Side of the Barricade) (2007), Golpe (Coup) (2011), La voce della verità.
